The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the service was superb! A truly excellent dining experience!

The Clevedon at Ben Rhydding

We had a family gathering, reflecting on the loss of a family member. The ambience and quality of environment at the Cow and Calf were excellent and we were seated at a lovely table. Each of us enjoyed our meals which were well-presented and delicious. The service was generally great. Coffees and drinks, however, were served so violently that they banged down loudly on the table and the coffees all slopped into their saucers. So extreme that it was comic, I actually laughed out loud, but this didn&rsquo;t spoil our experience.

A great find an unbelievable place, top class service.  The views for this place  were outstanding.  This was a welcome treat to spend quality time with my wife.

The location was a little out of the way but otherwise fine. The restaurant was very nice and the staff attentive and friendly.Unfortunately, two of the meals ordered were not up to an acceptable standard, the liver was more like &quot;pate&quot; than Liver and inedible. We did accept two alternative meals and they were fine.The Restaurant Manager was very apologetic and took the cost of our drinks off the bill.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was presented very nicely and we enjoyed it all, it was really tasty. We were sat outside and it was a lovely view and very pleasant out on the balcony.

The staff (girl) was welcoming, although it was very clear she was over worked. I booked online and didn&rsquo;t realised that I needed to book afternoon tea . The first choice of soup wasn&rsquo;t available, the warm ham hock salad was fridge cold. My Ceasar Salad was underwhelming. Saying this the food was acceptable and together with the company made the visit better than it would have been.
